I did Brooke and Nathan’s Inniswood Metro Gardens engagement session on a very cold November day. It was seriously freezing out but these two looked amazing. I actually used to work with Brooke, so it was nice getting to catch up with her and getting to know Nathan during their session.
Brooke and Nathan have been together for four years, and they met at Marion Technical college where they both attended school. Brooke was late to class one day and the only available seat was next to Nathan. They ended up doing a class project together. Then after a few weeks, Nathan asked her on their first date to Applebee’s.
These two cuties got engaged on October 27, 2018. They were both participating in the Great Pumpkin 5k along with some of her family. At the end of the race, Nathan suggested they get an after-race picture. Instead, he got down on one knee and reached in his coat pocket. Brooke said it took her by complete surprise.
For their Inniswood Metro Gardens engagement session, we started in Delaware. We did some pictures downtown and then some at Ohio Wesleyan. At the college, there were still leaves which gave it a more fall look. We then went to Inniswood Metro Gardens. Brooke was so excited about all of the different scenery at the park such as the bridges, benches, beautiful backgrounds, and the blue circle. I’m always happy when couples are excited about their locations because it makes for a more enjoyable day and even better pictures. I am so happy for the two of them on their engagement and can’t wait to photograph every part of their big day.
